For many years, my partner Eric Gray and I have privately discussed our mutual desire to make a difference in the world. Not just any difference but an impactful difference that would one day become our legacy. As a nurse, I have been fortunate to have the opportunity to help many people. Through helping others, I have learned great lessons about myself, the resiliency of the human spirit and the power of love. These lessons have fueled my desire to make a larger, more sustainable difference, particularly for those battling cancer. I am grateful to have a partner that not only shares my altruistic desires but has the vision to execute.
